Rainbows are pretty.
CDA is talking about where Deadman is doing his brake lines. He is warning against mixing different types/DOT's of brake fluid.

Don't do it.

It gets ugly.

C'mon fellas...try and keep up!HAHA

The rainbow is God's promise to us that He will never flood the Earth again. You see them when it rains so it is a good reminder of that promise. Just putting it out there...

If, you had all the daughters/granddaughters I have, you would never want to see pink, purple, lavender, sparkles, kitty's, fairies, princesses, Justin Biber, or unicorns, and rainbows again.

I like seeing people's daughters and granddaughters. Of age, dancin-

Oh crap. I'm at work.

And the "The More You Know" rainbow is an old PBS special that'd give some obscure fact, and then finish off with 'The More You Know'. And yes, I was responding to the brakes. It had a link to the post I was responding to. I guess I should have quoted it as well.

My bad.

Not if, you have the original one. Besides that the Honda one is a lot cleaner looking.

Well guys I'm back... What you thought I died? Nah just having a shit time with my health, jobs and money but that all might soon change. Bike is apart right now motor(s) (yes I have two) is out at the farm, frame and parts are just hanging out in my spare room as well in the trunk of my car. Found some more parts that I'm making a wishlist for. So just waiting on an email this week or next about this new job. After I get some debt out of the way the project should be back up and running again. Wish me luck!

When it comes to custom motorcycles there is no set formula for design, or needed parts. You need to design to what you like, then build. As you build, you will find where things need to be modified, or replaced with different parts that will work. To start you need a frame, engine, front end, and wheels. Then start connecting everything together until you have a running bike.

I think my problem was that I've looked to far into my project and I haven't even started yet. I was just looking at the parts I may need that need to be welded so I didn't have to do it later.

I'd avoid having to run a chain tensioner if you can. I've heard bad things about them. I'm sure it's doable, but for the expensive involved, and the fact that your basically building from scratch, you can just move any frame tubes that might be in the way of chain run and get by without it. On my old chopper my chain would smack a frame tube on decel in gear. I made a tensioner but never really liked/trusted it. I ended up just fastening a little block of nylon there and rocked on. Can't fail, simple, and cheeeeap.

Sounds good I'll go ahead without the tensor. Its always nice to hear feedback from personal experience.
