Re: My '78 cb750 Bobber

I know EXACTLY what I might do if it works :D Take the whole light thing off and replace them with black risers and the lane splitter handle bars from TC Bros. Im sure I dont need them to pass safety here in canada :S Not sure what the stipulations are here in Alberta on building custom bikes. All im saying is that right there is ugly and needs to be dealt with.

With these right? Risers are from Cycle X and didnt say any measurements.

They will work if, you use the top triple tree off a CB 450.

69-75 I know are the same. Just look, for the ones with two holes to mount the risers in.

I looked at that pic Deadman. The center hole is where it clamps on the steering stem. The two small holes up front about 3 or 4 inches apart are probably where the gauges mount. The big pair of hole closest to the inside are where the handle bar risers bolt it.They have a pass thru type design vs the clamps like you have. BUt,the outer most holes are where the fork legs should go.Not sure how those would work on your forks? Seems like a they bolt in to the triple tree on that model, whereas yours are clamped in to place. Id dont get it either.

Ya exactly what I was thinking too if mine pass through and clamp. Those TT tops wouldnt work I dont think.
and as for those smaller holes I was thinking to they were for gauges.

Now that, you point it out, that is an early one, He does need the one that clamps onto the fork tubes.
