It takes special tools to take the gauges apart, and reassemble them.

I have been wanting to get my bezels apart so i can powder coat them. They keep refusing any paint i try on them. But the trim ring that is pressed on there seems like it would be ruined in the process. There must be an easy trick to it.If i find it i will let you know

Waiting on parts so i decided to get back to polishing.Picked up a set of grips and headlights today.Lowered the gauges. Not as far as i like.Want them even with the top of the bar clamps.Used Daddy-o's trick on that deal.I was pretty happy with the look of the upside-down stock bars ...until Pops said it looked like a water buffaloHe wears suspenders and bowties...what does he know

Water Buffalo. That's too funny Have, you ever heard of the Suzuki 750cc 3 cylinder water cooled 2 stroke referred to as a water buffalo? Damn I am still laughing

Those old 3 cylinder 2 stroke Kawasakis are now collectors items, and deadly fast. Even the 350cc ones will give a CB 750 a run, for your money. I would love to have a 500, or 750.
I'll bet your Dad knows about the water buffalo. It was Suzuki's competition, for the CB 750. Then when it failed they brought out the Rotary engined bike. The two of them just about put Suzuki out of business. If it were not, for the success of the RM motorcross bikes they might have went under. But in 78 they brought out the GS 750. That bike saved them.

I wonder how long he is going to leave the Suzuki emblems on? I also wonder how many guys will look at it, and tell him about the Suzuki they had just like it?
