I can get the spring powder coated.Chunky has some flexible stuff he uses, but its expensive.Probably run me about $20 in material for the 2 springs.  I gotta do something, they are real rusty. I might paint the bodies black and the springs silver.   My bushings are kinda bad, too.Need to check price on that

I'm thinking about it,but i doubt it. That is the only chrome on the bike. The chrome is so nice on my wheels that i might just paint them. The stripper to remove powder coat is sooo expensive if you ever change your mind.  I really wanna break it down to polish the hubs, but i dont know how to re-spoke them and dont wanna end up with a huge labor bill at a bike shop. You ever spoked one before?

Got lucky had some rubbers laying around that were never used,YEP flex additive for paint was about 120 smacks in the az for a 4-6 oz bottle and you only need 2 squirts per quart,or table spoon per gallon,So thats another 25 bucks to who ever wonts a drop

No I haven't but this winter when I take it down to the frame I think I'm going to try.  After seeing your frame I want to do the same.  I'll use a different color but I want the rims and frame to match.  Your engine is lookin good too I jealous!

Well in the winter business is slow so I want to use that time to get the bike to 100%  Which means dual disk on the front powder coated rims, frame, and get the engine re painted.

If, you powder coat, or paint those perfect chrome rims we are going to have a problem. Chrome is supposed to age gracefully. Not be abused, and hidden. If, you want paint/powder coat. Use an old nasty set of rims, or some of the aluminum ones off an automatic.

I think, you can use any type of breather. Check out the ones at vintagecb750.com
The calipers have to go to the front. If they were on the rear they would want to rum/move in to the rotor. Also the bleeders would not be at the top.

I thought so.Thank you for confirming it.I feel smart when you agree with me.It seemed to me that the rotor is trying to "pull" the caliper away,so it must go to the front...plus it matched my pre-teardown pics i took
