A racing buddy of mine just open up a new business two weeks ago.He does chrome, anidizong and nickel plating. He can do hard nickel, too. That means he can do fork tubes Seriously considering getting him to chrome my side covers since he can chrome plastics, too. Have to see what it costs first and how much $$$ I have left after paying my taxes to uncle sam this year. Being self employed really sucks at times.
Tools, thank you sir. I wont bother you with that one again! Stamp at the ready!

Got my frame tubes "fixed" so no more leaky valve cover I made the clamps for it and put them in place with hose clamps so all the holes would line up perfectly once I drilled them
Marked all the pieces so they would be easy to know what goes where and in what direction.

I just had an idea, for the knee pads. You could make a mold, and use plasti-dip.

Thats a great idea!Should I send you my measurements?.....I thought about that using silicone and embedding magnets in it.But I figured the silicone would be too glossy and I was at a loss on the whole mold making aspect of it. Still am. The plasti dip gives me reason to reinvestigate it,though

LOL, I just saw this now. It'll dampen the frequency of the sound waves coming off outside of the pipes, causing them to vibrate at a much lower frequency (probably shift a lot of the waves to below the audible range). The sound coming out of the back of the exhaust will be mostly unaffected.

No more clubmans For now at least. I picked up these dirtbike bars for $10 at the swap meet and intended to use the on Hackjob. But in the meantime I figured I'd try them out here. Love em. I know they are basically just superbike bars, but anywho. The bike feels so much lighter with these bars. You have much better leverage with these and slow speed maneuvers are easier and more comfortable. Still getting used to sitting up high with these. It gives the bike a real dirtbike feel and I have found myself kicking the back end out on gravel roads because of that.I gotta stop that.Wheely-ing feels funny, too. Feels like the bikes gonna fling you off when the front end comes up the least little bit.I've taken to hooking my toes under the pegs for that But alas ,function wins over form Clubmans are still more funner
