Heres a cool bike.Not crazy about that seat.Can't figure out the shox on the front end?Pipes would be a bit toasty

That is a cool bike. The front end is a girder. It pivots on the two little swing arms coming off the triple trees. Hence the shocks. Usually the shocks are mounted up in between the little swing arms.

Got Toolbabes tank painted yesterday. For the second time. She did not like the first color, so I repainted it. Only got one small piece of dirt in the clear. Going to buff it out in a few weeks.

Just about finished with it. Still need to take care of a few details. Need a 6 volt 2 wire flasher, and tuck up some wires. Also need to make the aluminum battery cover.

I went, and tried to fire it up, but it would not go. I checked spark, and there was none. I pulled the point cover off, and the points looked like acid had been poured on them. Looked like two dried up warts rubbing together. I have never seen anything like it. Last year before starting this project. I installed the points, and condenser new. I started the bike, and it ran, for maybe 5 minutes. I then shut it off, and disassembled it. What could have done this? At $16.00 a set I hope this was a one time thing.
