Some of, you might remember last year I had mocked up a bobber, for Toolbabe out of a Twinstar. It kind of took a back seat to the Toolmatic last winter, but I have gotten back on it. here are some pictures of what I have been doing.
  I painted the frame, and engine.
 Mounted rear turn signals.
  Made this bracket, for the headlight, and front turn signals.
  Am going to mount a neat little Pod air filter.
  Put the seat, and tank on to see how it was looking. Still need to mount the Tombstone tail light.

It's a 79 CM 185 Twinstar. Stock it is one of the ugliest bikes ever built. The CM 200 with the 12V electrical system is a little better, but I picked this bike up really cheap, and it had a title. This is what it would have looked like new.

cool project youve got there. i love the tombstone tail light. havnt had the pleasure of bike inside house yet. have had the rack on the front porch. im not sure what they call the style of lights used on a hearse, the chandelear/lantern lookin thingson for the upper rear signals.always thought they would look cool on a bike.or just some small lanterns with the lil flickr flame lookin bulbs danglin off each side of rear fender would be cool. i dunno...

yep opera lights some old hearses had what is called landaus on them but what youre describing is opera lights one thing ive learned on here....never doubt Toools

I have some more done on the Bobber.
 I relocated the ignition switch.
  I have the breather installed.
  The rear fender, and taillight are installed.
  Headlight, and front turn signals.
  Exhaust, and break pedal are going on. Battery a la Sportster.

    I have not done much here lately, but I did install a luggage rack, for her to haul books, and art supplies.
Now I am doing the wiring, and paint. I still need to find a 6 volt headlight bulb, and a 6 volt horn.
