So it turns out the nearest state park is an hour from me. Everywhere else is going to be closed or too expensive. The state park has primitive camping for $1/night.
So eating at Crawfish Town USA and then getting gas then hitting the road. Got another 52 minutes of riding ahead of me before I can set up camp. Joy.

Just checked your glympse, I see you are right in the heart of Cajun country. Make sure you get some shrimp gumbo while you're there. They make it better than anyone.

So the state park I was going to camp at for $1 closed their gates at 9 pm. Bastards. So I am sleeping down the road for $15. Dammit.
But its the best I have at this time of the night. Talked to the owner, he said that if I use the bath house its $15. Going to see what the rate is if I don't use it. Ehh, I don't need a shower. I got one Wednesday! :D
