I probably will go to the Ralph Waynes backyard show. I read a review of it on Cycle Connections. It sounds like a great show. I'll probably drive my car though .

Southeastern Minnie-Sota. I am a short ride from the Mississippi River Valley, which divides Minnesota and Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. Makes for some gorgeous riding. We love to take weekend trips up/down the valley, for a few hundred miles in either direction. Cheers!

I'm actually in Rochester, about 45 minutes from Winona. One of our favorite roads is State Highway 35, in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, it is saturated with bikes on the weekends that are nice, so it is not the most fun then. We occasionally take a day off, during the rest of the week, to ride it. One of the most beautiful areas we've ever seen. Loads of fun with small towns, and scenery that is gorgeous on nearly every side.
The La Crosse/La Crescent area is stunning, in the valleys. As you go further South, into Iowa, and Illinois, it changes a bit, but not in a bad way. We would love to explore the Mississippi River Valley farther South, by a few states. Maybe next year. Cheers!

Was riding back and forth ( ST.PT. wis.to K.C. mo.)every month for over a year looking for a great job here(never found) But learned most all the roads quite well 50 ? (were river turns west )out of the dells is great when no road constr., Spring-Green in S.wi. is the best part of the state, lots of culture, plenty of curves and stop if you like small towns (witch I enjoy most)Ya need to stay close to river once you cross the border to many bigg riggs till you get passed ST.luie. >>>Piute<<<
