breather tubes.

katman
Man I should of taken more pics. where does the engine breather tube from the head go
and the top breather tube on the oil tank go. Do both the tubes go down to drain or does
the tube from the head connect to the oil tank. can't tell from the manual I downloaded.
Bike is my 75K. Have some more pics I will be adding to my build section.

I'm pretty sure the breather tube from the valvecover should go to the canister under the battery box. I believe the oil tank tube just goes to atmosphere,in other words, the clip behind the tranny that routes it between the frame and the swingarm. This way your valvecover tube is filtered thru the canister so poo can't enter your motor. I think the oil tank vent is just there for overflow purposes. Seems like it should be filtered too,but mine was like this when I got my bike. It appeared all originally routed,too.

I'm 99% sure this is how it goes from the factory. Mine is done this way and it hasn't given me any problems.

Someone please chime in if I am wrong!
