filling a small dent on gas tank

Kha
Just bought a 79 had tank for 25 bucks. Original color but in starting to flake. Didn't realize that the tank is kinda wider than my 80 K model tank. It has little dents around the tank but not too deep. Any recommendations on filling it? Bondo? Should I take it to a body shop and pop it out instead? Kinda like dark blue color and black.

You might be able to get a paintless dent removal company to take them out. However filling dents is what Bondo/body putty is made for.

I saw a guy take a dent out  by  heating  with a hair dryer then immediatley   spraying it with a CO2 fire extinguisher.  the  dent popped out and didnt touch the paint   Good luck.  He told me dry ice will work too.
