Those long exhausts will flop up and down and cause leaks at the cylinder head gaskets not to mention all the stress on the studs holding the exhausts to the cylinder head.

The exhausts should not stick past the rear wheel.
One reason is that if you back up to a curb on a street that has a camber, the exhausts will hit the curb.

I agree about the drum brake on the rear. The rear brake is only about 25% of the stopping power anyway.
The front brake has most of the stopping power.

It looks like an aftermarket Mustang tank. Does it have two, or just one gas cap? How is the project coming?

*UPDATE*
Bought a bike jack, Stool, Rear fender. Having trouble getting it on the jack atm need an extra pair of hands.
$2000 saved up for welding/Paint/Motor inspection and tuning/fixing as well as what ever else I need such
as cables, wiring, front tire and rim, a complete seat kit. Thats all I can think about right now.

Slow process but worth the reward in the end :)

Also made an Album on my Facebook if anyone is interested in taking a look at all the pictures ive taken so far

It looks like someone cut the front seat mount off, but your rear spring mounts are still there. If, you go to Cycle-X's web site, They have some really nice solo seats. And they are pretty inexpensive. they also come with brackets. You will also need the springs though. Since, you will need to weld on a piece, for the front bracket to mount, you may as well check out Cycle one's weld on forward controls. They are really nice. I was checking them out when I was down there. I would also just start checking out Cycle-X, vintagecb750.com , dimecity.com , and even JC Whitney, for the speedometer. For a rear fender, get a trailer fender from your locale farm/tractor supply.

After looking at the pictures some more, I had a cool idea. Make a seat out of that aluminum shovel that is on the bench behind the bike.

SOHC is what you've got. Look at my thread for a DOHC - you can clearly see cam covers.

I found forward controls for a DOHC, but don't know if they'd work for a SOHC. Check eBay, may find something for your bike there.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?
