The black lines do look good. I was gonna go that route on mine, but ended up stripping the race car and used my old NOS lines for my lines. We got the fittings and lines to do it at the speed shop, not cheap though.Probably would've cost me about $80 to but new.
|
|
If thats the case i should be able to buy a roll from Summit and have banjoe fittings put on some were's

Tompkins Ind. They cut, crimp, and bend to fit. I have had two sets made up by them. Cost around $45.00, and they have them in different colors. Tompkins Ind has stores all over the country. they have two in Kansas City.

SAVE INFO..Gears N R P M s...... chain 530----630 ..O ring ..Kile's K8 ....... post ........2007
Before swapping the sprockets/chain, I wanted to compare RPM's at different speeds. With the 15/41/630 setup, the bike spun in 5th at 70MPH, 5300RPM. With the 18/48/530 setup, 70 MPH in 5th is at 5200RPM. In 2nd, the 15/41 would hit 67 at redline (8500), the 18/48 got up to 70MPH at 8500RPM
More:
I don't see any immediate benefit of witching to 530 if you've got brand new 630 chain/sprockets.
One of the other posts indicated that running a 530 setup was going to result in less HP lost due to the 630 chain and sprocket weight. Mine feels smoother now, but I don't notice any extra oomph. I'm attributing the smoothness to going from a non-Oring chain with over 2" of slack to a nice new tight O-ring chain. I imagine I'd have gotten more "kick" if I had gone to a different ratio, but then, I could have done that in 630 as well. If you're interested in changing the ratios, you'll just have more options in the 530.

I never tried any of it. I just took it off. The headlight is weird.I had a hard tome getting behind it to take the windshield off.I never got it completely off.I couldn't figure it out either. I didnt know it had a key for it.The keychain that I sent with the trunk had 2 keys on it.I think? Maybe it fits.
Still trying to get hooked up with Tommy and get those side boxes. I work during the day and he drives a truck at night so...

The headlight on the Vetter is held in by a slotted ring. If, you grab the ring, and turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise it will come off. What parts, do, you need, for the Vetter? I have a busted up one that has some good parts on it yet.

Now that, you mention it. There is a tab, you have to push in before, you can turn the ring. That ring turns hard, but when it lets go. Watch out.

Dont you just love it when people drill holes for no apparent reason? Is that the same lens that was cracked,or are they both cracked?
|
|
Some hillbilly probably put on a gun rack,
to match his tractor
theres a hole in lens, back of len then thru fairing all in line ,
may be this billy got shot at.
