   I can / can't I remove the stator cover without removing the dang cover right be-side it towards the rear (in front of the Lil sprocket gear,can't find the Phillip bit for the impact driver.
  Need to have the set up/stripped  for testing tomorrow while I'm at work.
   Bought another on way home

                           Hey just got thru changing oil had rear tire off (mesuring up for trailer hitch)
   Not riding for at least a wk.Just have to move once in a while,
   better then no oil.

What are you using for oil there? I know the FSM says to use motor oil and petroleum jelly mix. Pops said he always just used gear oil. Curious cuz i need to do the same thing.

                                Valvoline Oil drained from bike,forgot what weight,
                               It's real clean but been in bike for couple months.
                                 The mix and spray stuff is good but nothing beats
                               A good soaking,and done alot and even onthe road (I carry A bit)
                                 or any clean oil you can get.Buy just put on derectly ,
                                Yes it gets messy but have chain gard.

Thanks.Man,I really wish I had a chain guard sometimes. Not having one makes the chain easy to lube,but it does sling alot of crap.

Only problem is I don't remember which year swingarm is on the bike. I think it is a 75 or 76 . I know its a K. I didnt want to run one cuz of the whole cafe thingyeah,im over that now. Maybe I'll build one.Have to see what looks good ...

   I've seen builds that have a 3/4" steal band bent the same as the chain then figure chain slap and tack on a couple (brace)straps to swingarm(must move as a unit.)give ya another peace to fab
   I'm thinking of cuting or drilling mine but hate to messup a good peace.

   Nice Box of goods today,Running Boards
 Did A dry fit and will mount and clear everything,Will need to extend shifter about 9"then bend to front of boards Or steal rod to new extension ,See Lil indentation,that it already there (stk.)

Now the brake pedal boing to take some finding of peaces and most likely calling in A favor on Harley parts cause i wont A bigg fat pedal pad. Ya see the bracket already there to add larger arm and may find one hat fits,with very Lil mod.
 Next waiting on hitch were all three (bracket,boards,hitch)use the same rod type bolt that goes all the way to other side,Witch is bent(making stronger and maybe longer(extra space with no peg bracket)

  Road the hwy today to work,(1st time on her)
 Bike did great no hesitations at any speeds (giving it gas),no pops or farts when letting off gas,There was just one thing ,oil was a lil under chain(from soaking for couple wk's,So got dirty oil on stuff ,no prob,
  This bike starts and runs like it is new,(some cam chain noise very Lil/not synced yet)I only let warm up this morn(6am)long enough to put lunch/coffee,and gear on,(7-8min)
  Very happy with my 1977 F2 S.O.H.C. 750,Now do need to change the gears Biggest I can get up front keeping the 630 chain (fo now)thinking can only get 1 bump(tooth)more there so may have to go crazy out-back ??
