Well waiting on new plugs and contacts to replace rather then clean a few plugs
modifying these Gold wing brackets for my baggs from Mc Ribs They
should be down low ,thinking as in picture but about 2-3 inches forward (center weight to center of wheel),But I wont to be able to check rear brake fluid and see vital parts axel nut , disc. Not sure if tour-pack will be wise may have to be to high in order to open baggs ,(have a narrower one)Bagg's mo important fo now .

add 5/26/12..10pm
Will use this for Lic.,also find rubber mud flap, then hitch,This heavy-duty bracket is going to be used to tye into my hitch, believe A long 2" strap "U"bent around to each rear peg ,tyed in to with vertical rods.
Did get bracket and looks good

Bolt that goes thru to other side(foot-peg's)is bent ,Will need to thread steal rod I have.

Got the baggs lined up and secured, need 1 weld on each side,
Now know how long to make the wire's and were to drill holes in steel that will support the bottom of both the baggs and the hitch, these ole Gold Wing parts sure came in handy, thought it would work, just had to drill holes and use of spacers,(they(G.W.)had use of fender.
No mods to bike / frame ,thats a good thing,
                                                                                 pics to come after lunch

These are great so far, there 30/70s from SuperStore, pretty good deal ,just trying them myself,do lots of exploring and end up on long gravel roads or crossing a field to get to a fishing hole .Do lots of camping and bike rallie's also ,have you tryed riding across grass and stoppinhg. these knobbies are a bit drastic but trying out at 60.00 bucks.

Don't ride IN the snow or ice unless I have hex nuts in rubber, teach ya about that come snow.

For most fair weather riders they stay home ,
even though the roads are dry,but still have to get to them

Grass! My front end slipped out on me just the other day when I was moving my bike out of the garage, car was in the drive so I went out on the grass and down the hill into the drive and I was done before I knew what happened. I also ride gravel a lot. Just got new dunlop 404s but haven't mounted them yet. I will be following your experience with the dual sport tires. I wonder how long they'll last on the street.

Have not put any long miles on the bike yet,So I believe they will hold up for summer,MAYBE They are soft, (to me) have a great ride and fill for the road, gravel on the road it has no prob, haven't gone any long miles on gravel roads yet,Or caught in rain.

I got some done And cusin Paul spot welded the bagg(bracket)for better support for hitch and lower strength to keep baggs stiff.Believe WE can use 1 1/2"/ 1/4 (?) steal band on each side now
Changed the light to double elements(winkers N running) tye into others in morn, useing a ground cable in rear to help eliminate some(1/3) of wires in rear.
Have her fired up also, hate taking the putt apart when it's running so well,
Get paul to check the charging, NEEDING a gauge bracket for my volt meter, may have to cut a peace of steal, for it to set up between the tach n speedo.

I'm anxious to see how you like your tires. Tools suggested a pair of those would look good on hackjob and I agree. Have you gotten on the highway to see if the make any noise yet?

I havn't got on hwy or went over 60mph you would think speed woudn't matter for noise,my Pro Comp mudders made noise at any speed,I'm hoping later when co-worker comes by we can time the tach for 20,40, 60, 80 mph. Then I can chance it riding to work.(tags)inspection
Decided to change oil,and allow chain to soak in (used)oil for the day, while I prep.baggs(prime N 1st coat). Not sure of color / design on baggs but lids are going with ghost flame like tank, flat blk.on gloss blk. of course have to have my org.stripe some weres.

I've got basically the same job ahead of me this week. I'm going thru all my wiring replacing all the connectors with Molex connectors...and sweating. It's too hot already. This is my first summer on a bike and I am surprised how coll it is to ride in the upper 90's.Not bad at all! But it's hot in the barn.

Re: Piute putt "77" CB750F

It's a pain but easy to do,I used a nut n bolt from grab rail and used an engine ground cable ( used to grnd distributor to firewall on Chevy Elc.) then 3way female 1.tail light 2nd.cowl lights,3rd has a 6" wire and a 'y' end for each saddle bag, most all will be in lil toolbox that tailight is screwed to,so not running far.
Will be finishing front (headlightbucket)wire's after my fairing weight box is added

this box will make room to use my halagen light also

Was said to hook Volt meter derectly to batt. ,
but that would cause a constant drain even with key off.(has light)
Any idea's ,there's a few extra switches on my bike ,guess I add one for it.
