If you really want to do something cool, take that V-twin out of the frame, and replace it with a 750 Honda engine.

Never! That would be a waste of a perfectly good seven fiddy motah! Honestly, this frame is a piece of junk. It looks like a farm implement compared to a Japanese frame. Rough,rough,rough...

I think a build is a build. I myself would ride one with my Honda t-shirt on just for the h e db l of it.

That would be funny! Of course my helmet has Honda decals and wings on it,so I guess I'll have that covered actually. BTW,this bike is pretty Japanese itself. Showa forks. Hitachi Starter...who knows what else I'll find!

Nice, From what I have hear Harley's are no more American then Ford Dodge or Chevy. Shot BMW's are assembled in Alabama. That mean they are made In the USA,
Oya you will have to cover up those HD letters when you are wearing your Honda stickered helmet.
I am just Joshing with you, So are we going to see a new build coming to a forum near us. I will not tell Tools, Rerun, Luke or that Shiny guy that its a HD. Maybe a before and after picture in the everything but.
Simple if some one else can, why can't I

Hoosier, you're reading my mind again! Because of budget there won't be a frame swap, but there will be some frame mods going on. Something very similar to what you have pictured there.
Jamie, as excited as I am about this bike I m still gonna refrain from putting up a build thred :) Around here at least...

Come on shiney, you can't tease us like that. Put a up thread in everything but 750's. I really want to see what all the hype about Harley's. Let me know what working on those imperial cycles is like!

Its like working on a farm tractor. Huge SAE fasteners and loosely fitting parts. Except.for where they should be loosely fitting, for removal reasons, then they seem to be wedged permantly in place.
OK high up admins, what say you? Should I start a thread?

That's gotta be one helluva slow car. Sub-100 hp, the heaviness of a car...
I love the design though!
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

Well, this particular admin doesn't have a CB750 anymore. My Shadow is a 700cc engine.
It doesn't matter to me if someone wants to put up a H-D build. Just keep it in the proper folder.
There are some who are pretty biased toward Honda here, just as there are those on an H-D forum who would give considerable grief about a Japanese bike posting. As long as we can continue to get along, it'll be fine.

This is what I was concerned with. And if I do put up a thread I will keep it very concise just out of respect for the fact that this is a CB forum. But I'm game if everyone else is. I guess what I'm saying is: Speak now,or forever hold your peace.
|
|
I don't think it needs to be concise. Just leave it all in 1 place. Make it huge, make it bigger than water buffalo, just leave it in 1 thread.
