Shiny ribs, thAnks for the info on the paint.  I don't think you've dismantled the motor so i assume you just masked it off.

No Peter i did not mask anything.Just plugged all the holes in the head.As far as the side covers that are polished,i didn't worry about the overspray on them since they had to be final sanded before polishing anyways. Here is what the can looks like that the clear came in.The clear is not ceramic, obviously, but you get the idea

Ok Daddyman, you already have a complete cafe...now you gotta take a stab at me with 'puter skills, too? You guys are brutal. That trick with Tools old tank was cool, thoughI just prefer the spoiler on the back over the stubby look.

Oh  and for the record    dont ever put a H.D. motor on my Honda again...i will find you

Well here is attempt #3. I took 2 1/2" off the length and dropped the rear down 3/4".Made the spoiler/duckbill a little more noticable, too.Whaddya think now?I think i just about got what i was aiming for

What do you guys think about the cross tail light on a cafe?Stupid?Im still up in the air on that one.I think i may have it upside down too.I dunno

That was a counter productive move to adjust the floats when they were leaking.
You need to put new float needles in and get all 4 floats adjusted to the factory spec. Check the book but it is about 1/ inch but look it up it may be .472

You will have more trouble if you do not put in NEW float needles. You do not need the seats ,just the needles. About $5.00 each.

You solution for handle bars is flat track bars.
Go to Flanders.com they have been in the handle bar mfg., business since at least 1955.

No rear fender for this Pollock!Might try to run the inner splash shield, but i dunno. I think the length and shape is right, maybe whole thing is just too tall.I'm not happy about the frame showing.Looks too unfinished.I think that is what is giving it that mailbox on a post look. You described it perfectly!I'll drop it over the frame tomorrow and see what it looks like.  Shocks are at full stretch right now.Im not sure where actual ride height is exactly, wish i did so i could get a better look at things.

I still think it is too long, and needs more slope. However I would do what Daddyman suggested, and make a mold off the tank. You could then mold a spoiler on it.

That was good! You got me!
Yeah, the cross tail light is gone.Looked dumb.Ashamed i even considered it
Im gonna try the windows paint thing,if i can find it???I would like to see what it would look like just as it is,but drop the sides enough to hide the frame tubing.

Where do i find the windows paint thingy? The sticker to the right of my mouse pad says windows 7 so i assume its in here somewhere.

Thanks for the advice guys.Dont think im disputing your suggestions.I really appreciate them!Im still not happy with it myself.Just running out of material

I agree Tools, still seems a little long and the slope doesn't match the slope of the tank just right.Oh well, sooner or later.I just wonder if the motor being out and the frame being so empty is what is making it look so tall.

Daddy-o,that was an awesome thing you did with that tank.I appreciate you and Piute taking time to do that.I know you guys got better things to do.THANKS ALOT!

Click the button in the lower left hand corner of the screen (windows button) type PAINT in the search box and it'll come up. Alternatively, click the windows button, click "all programs", click "accessories" and click "paint".  Once you get the program started just press F1 for an overview of the various tools. It may not be up to the task of moving bits of the bike around but it's worth a try.
