I think your bike needs 102 links. Brass is pretty tough.

Was looking forward to the peanut M&M's but Pops stole 'em.Said they looked outta date....whatever....sneaky old man I checked out the flat rocker covers,i like the look, but not sure i like the idea you can only tighten them from inside the valve cover. How would you ever adjust your valves? They do look cool, think im gonna go with the bee-hives though i gotta redo the finish.

Your welcome. Thought, you might need something to keep up your strength, with all that buffing. I have seen some of the flat covers that have a slot, for a large screwdriver.
Sorry I could only find one rubber mount. Toolbabe cleaned the garage, and now I can not find a damn thing. However I am sure your Honda ones will work.

Hey Piute,he has my finned covers on that bike!!!Golden!HAHA! No man,i'm thinking black chrome on the bee hives Its a translucent black that my buddy powder coats over real chrome.Looks great and keeps it from ever rusting. We have used it on bolts before and the wrenches don't hurt it.Tools, the honda mounts actually worked out better than the thin ones.No problem buddy, everything worked out PERFECT.As a matter of fact......it's on!
It looks a little high in the back, but it is sitting on the same 5 degree angle as the ss tank.It sits 1/2" higher off the frame than the original, had to sit that high to clear the carb slides at WOT.
Moved the front mounts up and forward. The holes you see are the original mount locations. From rear of this tank to the front mount location is 3" longer than the original.Way it sits now i lost 1 1/2" off the front of the seat.Oh well.
Had to do a cross member type mount on the rear.Had to be removable or the battery wouldn't go in and out.I know the welds are fugly, they'll get dressed up before it all gets powder coated
I am super happy with how it fits up around the neck!Perfect!!!Wanted to slide it forward more to save seat room but just ran out of room.Petcock wont work for me if you need it back.I'll just make a new one.Pretty cool that this tank has a fuel level sending unit.I might have to get a gauge for it!All in all i could not be more happy.

Looks good. Your not going to miss that 1 1/2 inches. Unless your only 5 feet tall. I am trying to figure out a way to stretch the Bob-A-Matic.

Sure am glad to hear that! Kinda scary modifying something that you have never ridden.I never know if i'm screwing up or not.I didnt figure you sat that close to the tank anyway.Im actually 6' 3" so i should be back a pretty good ways. Are wanting longer wheel base or more room from you to the handlebars?

More of both. On the Toolmatic I sit on the middle of the seat (right on the step part) when riding alone. Get kind of cramped up when Toolbabe is on it.

Really? How tall are you?If it's like that for you i might really need to slide my seat back?
I forgot to ask,i had to weld up my steering stops a little bit to keep the handlebars from hitting the tank. Will that affect you much riding,or just in parking lot type situations?

I'm 5' 11''. If it were mine. I would move the tank back an inch, and raise the front an inch. However adding to the stops will not affect riding, and, you probably will not notice it in parking lots.

I would do away with the vacuum thingy. It was not hooked up on the Suzuki.

With the free shipping, it's not bad. I have seen O-ring chains as high as $130.00
