If you get some Lowers, be aware that you may have to modify them to fit your bike. I needed Type 10, but they're as rare as hen's teeth... I wound up with a pair of Type 8's(?), did some cutting, and now they look legitimate, until you really look hard.
I love my Lowers. They really make a difference in the rain, and the cold. Cheers!
Well Srgt.Put in an offer on these
There off a 1981 Wing, pretty bad shape but reparable and worth the offer to me
COLORS SEEM THE SAME that a plus on fit huh?
well the cast (grn.) color I'm adding

That's almost hotter than here! Joking, it's only in the lower to mid 90's here now because it's only the first week of summer. It takes a few months to really start warming up.
LOL on the 6 pack. :)
I am done with the bike! I am just playing around with the front brake caliper adjustment to try stopping the squeak. I may end up putting on a deglazed, thinned, and drilled rotor and also maybe new pads....since these might be contaminated with something. We'll see how it goes this weekend.
Take care on those long rides!

As far as the batt. working and chargeing fine,But has any-one noticed how hot it gets under the seat ,
The oil bagg is 1/4 " from batt.causing it to get way to hot,
Still to hot to check level now(batt)will in morn was perfect Friday but about 500 miles ago,So will be a good test to see if any boiled out.
Was going to go chrome on the rear fender ,
but seems the stock mud-flap will be just right and color to.

You know,I rode some this past winter with the side cover off on the oil tank side. You cant ride without that cover cause it will scald your leg. I never thought about it,but the battery is right close.

Have afew glass projects this fall ,lost one lid and some type of scoop cover for that side, that look that they 1st used ,was those real vents OR looks,Well the one I make will work,And that dang blow-by(crank case)sure blows, need to put that near the chain,We haven't been burned by the oil bag yet,but point it out to my frie nds it's hot !
I put a peace of fiber between the batt. and oilbagg ,and making it a habbit to open and leave seat up,when i 1st stop so it cools,When home I take off...IT has to be moved/customized ,maybe under filter ,
It's just to hot period 100+deg.and staying, may rain Thur.were in a bad drought here. 3 day wkend Hitting the Ozarks, move over HillBillys here comes PIUTE,
