It a Gal. ,
One bagg (L)carries all tools on bottom, then heavy gloves/coconut is all,(space left for groceries). When riding the helmet & gloves are on,I've had them stolen left laying on bike in Dallas. (R) rain gear,mo Gloves,.
The reason for tour-pak is to carry helmet and coat, quik to get to stuff,papers(X-maps)/lunch/Gun/ammo,and not dig to find,I carry way to much ,tools/gear/heck I even carrie a sward ,never with-out my Bible.I never plan on racing (needing faster start)I strongly believe the extra weight helps these cheapo tires with traction & wear.(rain & wind)

Hey Chrome guy,
Some time(I hope) February I'll get started on that custom oil bag,
As shown dropping seat (pic about 1 1/4,I'm thinking approx.2 inches)
"SEE REASON FOR 2 peace SEAT"
lower mounts will need relocated I'm sure,
(pic looks like max with-out fabing bag to much)
top hole filled and new drilled,OF course some special coating from yo Bud.
Then also snag Honda's Bitch-bar sliding idea too(but 1/2"solid steal) /adjusting
intergraded into saddle bag plate/mount,Then yo buds plating,
Trying to get done before it gets into riding time,
BUT theres lots of rainy wkends in Feb. & March.
May need Moving time think I found a place for Judose & I,
No more dog house fo him, doggy door's ROCK

THX.Srg.,
My thought, was better then up high on seat/rack or even in tour pack ,
Will work till I finish my other idea's (lowering tour-pac to seat height)

I hear ya on two sets of controls. I dont care how comfy any bike is,sitting in one position can only be comfy for so long. Sometimes I hang my feet on the swingarm, sometimes I prop up on the stator cover with my left foot. On the chop I used to stretch my legs out on top of the valve cover

BIGG front crash bars are nice plenty of places, they come so you can mount pegs,
I did my thing with brass spacer(inside the bar)
