                      piute 1977 CB 750 F2 SADDLE BAGS / FAIRING/TRAILER HITCH

Well today for the new month I got started on my new Lid for Left bag,
(lost in Joplin,Mo.while running route 66)

need to trim the fur a bit then add on to make taller,I wont to be able to put bigger(taller)items in on this one side,So going to make it have like 3" skirt around front, outside edge and back(inside edge would hit bracket if all the way down)
More to come on this, has 3 light layer, will push and form then one heavy glass cover then lots or resin.

                                                          time for night ride

got new speedo cable n  tach cable working also I fill good

i DON'T NEED NO STINKING CAMERA opps
 Need different lighting,
You was looking at this (fiber glass)made by laying over one I had still

I then trimmed to get a bit of under "ROLL" from glass/res.on edge when applying skirt

SEE how added skirt(glass)"ROLLs" under smaller(tighter fit)
This is added length for skirt(right side bag but left lid why U see mounting holes,Ya put lots (2 heavy layers)of car wax on so not to stick (good lid/bagg)Could go buy RELEASE product same $h!^ 3x the price
let cure for few days then prime N paint MO Later

I've heard you can spray Pam cooking stuff to use as a release agent. Any truth to that? I figured you would probably know. Lid looks good man! You know as soon as you are done with all this you'll spot your other one, right? That how this kinda thing works

Now this new  gear is 15 T mine is 14 T but new goes to a "K" model,
not sure of fit now Is a 630 type

Posting results from my swap of 14t to 15t ,
Never had a working speedo, But bike with stk.14-43 gears was loud and r's were high to me at just going 70m.p.h.(my best guess) to work at aprox.7k r.p.m's.

                                                         WITH 15 T front gear
6k at 73 at 1st when just jumping on interstate, took bike to 90m.p.h. held for 5min.Then drooped back to 80m.p.h.(came up on coworker N his bike) bike held 80m.p.h.at 6400r.p.m.,Then took it up to 90's(passing semi's)Hit exit,55 speed zone at 55m.p.h. 4th gear at 6k. now this was 1st time testing and chain seemed loose when parked, doing this same routine rest of week to get gas mileage and accurate numbers.

I have a 16T on the way ,So will put all together real proper like

I would strongly recommend an onboard battery monitor.  There are different models available, from low, to high.  The two I would recommend are:  link1-LowPrice-model, and link2-SuperModelHighPrice (which is what I use -- great product, highly recommended).  Tells you at a glance, how your charging system is functioning.  They both will work, but the higher end model monitors your battery's life, by measuring the drop in cranking voltage, which indicates diminished battery life, overall.  Cheers!

     GLOVES WERE BIT DISAPPOINTING oops
The ends are to tight to put over coat & long sleeve Sweet shirt(both)

But Got these today and had just my mechanic & latex on short ride at 32deg. Big THX.To the big Chrome hearted guy
Did not fill a thing, need to work on best positioning though.

                                        This is next Fo Me
,Item: CM1002     I  THINK  TUNNEL  FILLERS  ARE  A  MUST  FOR  COOL  TO  COLD  WEATHER  RIDING  !

      E-Bay....""Price  :  14.00 + 6.00 shp.
This is a pair of tunnel fillers. These foam fillers are designed to fill the gap between the fork tubes and the fairing to keep cold air, bugs, water, and road debris from coming up and hitting the rider. They install in seconds. They install on the outside of each fork tube and between the fairing. The picture shows the front at the top and the bottom towards the driver. These fillers block alot of wind ""

I get wet & wind only from were these will fill(get on my glasses)only my ankles & feet will be in wind.NOW I have no choice but to ride at this time and its in the 20's in morn.
