No way bud. You do too much as it is. You got your own stuff to do without running errands for me. I do appreciate it, though

It's no problem. they are only 10 minutes away from the Toolcrib. Here is their info. Metal by the foot. 816-241-5550. The tubing is 1" X .095 mechanical tubing. Maybe they can help, you get some. If not let me know.

I will be going right by it tomorrow. It is right by the powder coaters that is doing my Buddies engine. They are doing the whole engine, cases, and all. I have to go up, and assemble the covers on the cases, so they won't have to mask everything. Should be really cool. The guy said he has never done engine cases before.

You got me worried about vibes now.I have a piece of flat roofing membrane.I wonder if I slip it between the seat and the pan if it will do the trick? I was wanting to make a set of foot pegs.Something big and industrial looking with lots of metalI'm wondering now if I should stick with the rubber covered stockers. You reckon the vibes could be an issue there?

Vibes shouldn't be to much of a prob. BUT wet metal is slick so lots of deep cuts for gripp, foot slips be sure ya have big band-aids,cause it will work like a meat tederiser on back of leg, dang that hurts just thinking of it

Got the seat mounted and the electrics situated under the tank. I ran into a little clearance issue with the carbs and the tank. A ball peen took care of that. I dont usually care for those kind of ''fixes',but it'll never show. I messed around with the wheels some with a few different paint jobs. The solid black looked ok,but a little plain. Let me know what you think.Which setup you like better? If you have any other ideas, hit me. I'm wide open.

Solid black

Black with silver rim

Black with silver rim and spokes

I totally molested my battery box. i was too lazy to fab up all the tabs and figured the factory pieces had spent too much time together anywho. Dig that fuse box fix! PO's rule!

Snug, yes. But it is all in there! Regulator, rectifier, starter solenoid and the diode! Next is to find a spot for the oil tank and the fuse block. Then I'm onto exhaust, which I dread.Alot.

With the blue/silver paint, I think the black with silver rim, and spokes looks best. However I really like black wheels. I would have sworn that the clamp, for the DOHC C model triple clamp had a fuse box in it.

The tank and seat will be satin black when its all done. The frame will be textured black semi gloss and the engine will be satin with ss fasteners and a few other highlights.NOTHING POLISHED! Fork sliders and s-arm will be satin. There isnt a fuse block in the triple now.But there could be a place for one. That would be nice.

  Well ChromeRibs
Name like that best keep some room for polishing,You know me Blk. is great ,but all has to be powder coated To be right ,That means taking apart when done .Nice swing hith the ballpin.,leaving swingarm polished and howbout lowers (legs),

It's easier to actually see, than to try and imagine,so I squirted some satin black today.I plan on blacking out the motor but keeping a silver valve cover. The exhaust I plan to either powder coat silver or wrap with silver wrap. Looking into getting a few Honda wing decals done in silver for the tank and a couple more for the engine covers. Or maybe just put them on the side covers if I go with side covers.

Help me decide guys. Should I:
-Side cover or not
-Black forks/s-arm or not?
