Hey, good to see your Hack-Job coming along. I recently saw this on the net and figured you may be able to glean some inspiration from it

Wow...just,wow.I am usually not one to criticize ANY out of the box thinking...but whoever molested that poor truck should be brought up on some sort of criminal charges!

I have been ebay-ing a fair amount lately.I think I have my brake system sorted out.Just gotta get it mounted now. The rear brakes are stock for my swingarm so the brackets and stay-rod will be a bolt on affair. All I will have to sort out is the rotor spacing.Hopefully the diameter will not be an issue.I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.$36 shipped for all three calipers, rear master and pads.Supposed to be in good working condition.Thats cheaper than I could rebuild mine for!

Master cylinder with spiffy lever for $20 shipped. The hose connect is boogered so that required another part to fix.At $22 it cost more than the masterI think I'm still in the good, though

And of course,a matching clutch perch with matching spiffy lever.$35 shipped

Tab was at                           $472
calipers/rr master                      36
fr master                                 20
kit for frt master                       22
clutch perch/lever                     35
--------------------------------------
Current tab                           $585

I have a bad feeling this bike is not gonna come in under $1,000 like I had hoped.

I have picked up a few other parts. Mr Slownugly hooked me up BIGTIME,so i will have to brag on that soon. Thanks bud

OK,so here is another surprise package from Slownugly I swindled him out of his Vapor setup I already love this thing, and it is just sitting on the shelf waiting for a bike to go on! He also threw in a nice looking set of mirror mounts, all of the LED indicator lights for the tab he made, the worlds best flasher bulband a sweet little helmet bag which my helmet is resting in right now.All warm and cozy. Thank you sir! All items are very much appreciated. I owe you one(maybe more!) for all this bud. I will not forget!

As you would imagine, this bumped the tab up a bit. All of this will raise the new tab (get this) 20 bucks...yeah,not a typo. I am almost ashamed to even post this.Ok,I am ashamed.Like I said:SLow' I owe ya man!

Previous tab                         $585
Slow' Swag                             20

Current tab                          $605

Yeah bud. 3" od is all i can really fit in there. 18" long is about the max, too. Thinner the wall the better. Not like soda can thin, but I know that you know what is weld-able. I did some more measuring. I am gonna build this tank, and add another smaller one. I need to store more oil down low and leave more air gap area in this one. Will help keep weight down a little lower, and will keep it from puking oil when it gets warm/expands and while cornering...why can't I just be satisfied with a stock bike???

Thanks for this. It's a HUGE help to me. Just let me know how much $$$ I owe you. Time, effort and gas are valuable items!!!

Current tab            $605
axle                         16

any idea where I can pick up a control like that one, and do you think it could poss. be reversd or flipped and used for a clutch?
It's only illegal if you get caught.

Truck, I have some painting supplies in the shop. I have 3 buddies that paint cars for a living. I have ne er used a Booth before. Nothing I ever had was worth that much trouble! If this bike turns out like I hope,  it'll get painted in a Booth.. I think I can come in under a grand as long as I leave the engine alone. If I do the 836 I want I'm sure that'll send me thru the roof!   Hellbilly, those vmax style scoops are killer! Not a bad idea bud!
