That's a lot of fill, for being the outside corner. I will admit I don't have much experience with TIG on aluminum. However when welding steel on an outside corner, hardly any filler is needed.

I know, you're right. It's 1/16'' thick sheet aluminum and a really junky alloy. It was an old sign from a plumbing supply house that's out of business now. I double beaded it cuz i'm paranoid like that.

Awesome man, definately sleek and hidden. That saw gives me an idea, the one that is pictured right behind the gas tank, think you should maybe chop into that tank some and lower the rear of the tank some, you know what I mean?

Lower the bottom edge of the tank,or take the profile down on the top? I'm not happy with the bottom edge to be honest. It sits too high compared to the flange on the seat. I do need to do something there.
Working on welding the bungs on the tank tonight and was curious how much it would hold. A stock tank shows full on the dip stick at 54 oz. This tank holds a total of 74 oz. I couldn't believe it! I might not need two tanks after all.

Yeah, lower the bottom edge, sorry, was having a hard time explaining what I meant. I'm not sure if u have much clearance to lower the front of the tank, but looks like the back could come down some and would look good I think

Cool. As long as you approve I know I'm on track As far as the tank alignment,it's amazing how much better it lined up after i tightened it down and squished the rear rubber mount down. lol. Thats really all I did.
