I thought i would add some photos of the 1978 CB750K master cylinder rebuild for those that may be interested.
I ordered the snap ring pliers from Parts-N-More. About $12.00 plus shipping.

Crud....Lots of crud.

Make sure that vent hole on the right (circled in red), is clear or you will not be able to bleed the master cylinder.
If that vent hole is clogged no fluid will be able to enter the system.
The vent hole was so clogged that a steel guitar string could not poke through the small hole so I had to get a model makers drill and drill it out.
Then the master cylinder immediately filled with fluid and bleeding the system was very easy.
It developed rock hard pressure right away.

I took the bike off of the jack today to get ready to put the kick stand and the exhausts.
It is the first time I have seen it sitting on the ground .
The seat height is about 29 inches.

Today is New Years day and so there \will be no mail,no UPS ,no USPS,No FEDEX. =no parts!

I did get my battery installed and I turned the key. No smoke!! YES.
Then it was slow to wake up but I retightened the battery cables on the battery and finally the horn would honk, and the engine will turn over at a good rate.
Instrument lights CHECK.
Headlight - Low and High, CHECK.
Oil pressure light CHECK.
Neutral light will not go off?
Engine turns over CHECK.
Ignition to the spark plugs CHECK.
All that is left now is the turn signals and winker function. Waiting for signals to arrive.
I will have to take the neutral light mechanism out of the engine
if an ohms test will not produce results. Tomorrow.
Getting too cold now. I will go inside and cook dinner. Like a good man should.

Donald! Man,I LOVE those turn signals! They are awesome! That is really gonna set off that whole bike man! I mean the rest is beautiful but I really dig those turn signals.Great choice man.I love the tail section, too. That is the style i really wanted on mine, but my lack of fiberglass skills forced me to revert back to metal.Something I CAN work with.It looks great bud.I really like it.Tuned in and eagerly awaiting the next installment!LOL
