Ooh nice! Youre gonna like those.I just swapped mine to braided and it was surprising how much it improved the feel of the breaks.(i had to).The smaller line does increase pressure with the trade off of increased lever effort, though. Are those -03 AN size? That is what I used.Still getting used to the new lever feel, but overall very pleased.

Yes! Fed-Ex just dropped off some more goodies from Cycle X. Emgo brake pads and shoes and all the cables. (throttle push-pull, speedo, tach, clutch) Hey, it's an OLD bike, these things should be replaced at least once every 30 years just to be sure it's safe!

You know, you're probably right. My whole life I have been of the attitude of ride it out and see just how long it will last. I had a water pump start seeping on a 72 C 10 once. Bought a replacement and drove around with it under the seat for nearly a year. It only went on then because it slung the the timing chain off. But being on two wheels lately has really changed my perspective on preventative maintenance.

Anyways...new parts!!!  WOO HOO!!!

Just saw this thread.... Mark we have the same bike, color etc... I am still in the never ending upgrade stage like you...I switched to the clubman bars as well.. It makes for a funner ride. This weekend's project is to switch out the tank that I re-furbished from Ebay. I am going to the black and chrome look. Picture below... I got a rebuild kit for the petcock as well. I live here in Miami. Palm Beach gardens I imagine that is in Palm Beach? I'll keep everyone posted on progress.

YOu have to order the bolts separately, but each bolt came with two washers, which is all I needed. They have the washers in bulk too for 39₵ each, but you can get 10mm crush washers at any auto parts store too.
