My bike is coming slowly but surely. I sanded the tank down to 2000 grit, then patched the dents and the badge clip, so I can sand it down smooth again tonight. and then hit it with some paint.
Got the rear drum cleaned and sanded and ready for paint, the new pads ready to go in.
sanded the one coilover nicely and need to do the other and paint them both.
Have the side covers off the engine, but everything in that portion looks great. so I guess I really need to open her.
I have three coats of paint on the Frame and I think thats good enough.
I sanded all the sokes on the one wheel that needed it done, and man that was not a fun job,,,, esp because my buddy has my dremmel.

I have help lined up to gimme a hand with the wiring harness when the time comes.
I am moving along.

I primed the tank,
painted the rear drum cover, and one of the coilsovers,
and got all the rust off the fender, I'm going to paint that to match the tank though.

I'm very pleased with the flat black, I use 2 coats, of the 2x flat black rustolium. that stuff works great. I love it.

OH MAN... The Dark Bronze Metalic is perfect.. it'll look so nice on the copper frame.. and the flat black rest of it... I'm very happy with my paint selection.... I'm going to paint RUSTBELT CAFE in script on the frame with a brush... before the clear coat.. I'm pimping this old girl back out there.

I think I'm gonna go to goodwll and buy and old clock and take the gears and such out of it and make some kinda artsy fartsy clockwork speedo face... the colors willl mesh with my color scheeme.

I'm going cafe, I cant rock no hardtail on Pittsburghs streets,, cafe it is, run with the idea. I don't own it cus I concieved it. you may come up with something cooler then me.
