After beveling the edges of the Do-Hickys I welded them to the swing arm.

Thanks Tools, let me know. Just a heads up on your bike, when i lowered mine i had to move my kick stand or shorten it a bunch. I just about dumped it on the wifes car!
No reason a CB 750 cant be your first bike at 15 years old!!

It is surprising how many people don't think of the kickstand when lowering their bikes. I have already had this one on the kickstand. It does sit up pretty straight, but seems to be stable. I still need to dig through my boxs, but I'm pretty sure I have a lower tree. Hopefully I will have time tomorrow evening.

I am planning on using the stock 4 into 2 head pipes wrapped with black exhaust wrap, and the Dunstall style mufflers that were on the bike.

Gaitors!!!  The new lower shock mounts turned out real nice! Lookin' good buddy.  Keep plugging away at it.

Well I went backwards again. I went to test fit the exhaust with my new muffler brackets, and the headers hit the case guards, so I had to remove them.   Then I decided to install dual disc brakes, cut 2 inches out of the forks, and switch to a DOHC lower triple tree, so that I could use the factory brake line splitter. So here is where I am at now.
  However on a good note I did get the new license plate/taillight bracket finished, and mounted.
  Here is the muffler brackets I made.
 And since I had to cut the endless  chain off  and could not find any master links, for a "Diamond 630 XLDO O-ring chain" and the sprockets looked like new; I picked this up. I hope it will hold up to this beast.
