Hmmmm...that's a very tough call on that seat. I imagine it would be more comfortable like you have it now,but it really followed the lines of the frame better before. No offense Lucky, and I hate to say it,but it's starting to look like a tractor seat againDecision time:form or function

I ordered some shorter springs, two inch instead of the 3  inch in .
You are right Shiny Ribs. You are right on the money.
Maybe I will have to go with forward controls. Or mid controls.

Color makes a big difference too.
Check out this sloppy Photoshop color mock up.

I really hate to be critical, but I must agree with Shiny. Looks like, you sat a chair on top of the bike.

I will take a photo of the bike with a 2 inch spring and post it. for you to see.
That color on the photo of the real bike brings the whole thing into focus.

Yeah,a little color did help. Sometimes it's hard to get something like that just right. You just gotta play around til you nail it. Thats why I have lost of cardboard in my shop. Cardboard and duct tape is great for mocking up stuff. No welding and grinding required. You'll get it right, just takes patience.

Here is the side view with the seat angle lowered.

I also slimed the side view of the seat itself.

Latest news.

I have finished making small brackets for the regulator /rectifier, solenoid, and fuse holder.
I will weld the brackets on  frame as soon as I take the engine back out of the frame.
I also will finish welds that can only be properly finished with the frame upside down.

I was able to trade my 4 into 2 into 1 Cycle-X exhausts
for pipes that are more fitting for a digger bike.

I found a H-D steering head washer/dust cover thing in
chrome in one of my parts stashes. Good to keep those "useless" parts.

These are the exhauts I am trading for.

Another more up to date color Photoshop mock up.

All waiting for fuel proof 2 part clear coat.

Knobbies are dangerous for the street. But the ones in the Photoshop sketch are K87's I think.
Kind of a all around use type.

They are fine for the street.
Today I painted the design in black onto the gas tank.

I have the frame now ,it was being powder coated.
It is powder coated black.
IT is like black glass!

I sanded all of the sharp edges with a 60 grit flap wheel before powder coating.

Very nice, I like how deep and glossy that black is!

Not sure I can get behind the tiger stripes, I have to see more; however, its your bike and expect that you'll like it nonetheless!

Absolutely love the frame, however. I definitely like raked bikes.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?
