Yeah, it was a little chilly here today. The temps weren't bad, in the 30's, but the 25 mph wind with 40 mh gusts were not pleasant.


But.....



1985 VF500 Interceptor. Old school cool  Looks like a HotWheels toy with the 18'' rear and 16'' front.  I love it!! Complete, title on the way, no keys (bummer...)and a little over 20k miles. Brakes are all up and so is the clutch.


Rim difference looks extra cartoony in this pic for some reason. It's really not THAT bad.


Seat is pristine. Dual black chrome muffs are cool but unfortunately, not pristine.


lol    So dated looking. Perfect! Electrical is all untested by me. Not going to buy a battery for this thing for a long time, but the switchgear all feels as smooth as new.



Dusty,but no fading on the clock faces.


Ok,ok....it's not a CB. But it is a 4 cylinder!

You know that the Interceptors are well known for very bad handling. I have been told that the small front wheel is to blame. However for this reason there are not many left in good condition. Looks like you found one though. Good find!

Yep. They were playing with the small wheel for ''flickability''. Trying to reduce rotataing mass. Obviously, they didn't stay in that train of thought for long. lol. It'll probably end up with F1 or F2 underpinnings. I am waaaaay to big/heavy for this bike. Look at the before and after when I plop my butt on there.

How about this for a random. For the last 11 years, now 12, they run the 2 super bowl teams through the yearly madden nfl game. 9 out of 12 times, it has been right. Don't ask me exactly how they do it though.
This year, it picked right. Wanna know the score it picked? new england 28 - 24.

And what was the score? 28 - 24.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
