Just got home from racing today. You guys would love the bikes at the track. The class i'm in runs after the bikes so i get to the see whole m/c class from the staging lanes.Guy lost one today.Very scary to see.He had just launched it when the bike took a hard left.Track was real greasy today, sucked. It hit the wall and drug his left leg about 25 feet before it threw him over the wall.He was knocked unconcious for a few seconds then he JUMPED over the wall and ran to see his bike! He's gonna be one sore puppy tomorrow i bet.Not a good day for me either.Qualified 3rd in a 20 car field then went out first round due to tire spin.Car has NEVER spun before.Maybe i'll park the Olds and take up racing bikes????If it is half as much fun to do as it is to watch, then i'm inBTW,not a single Honda anywhere today.Seems Suzuki is a real popular choice.Hmmm....

It's hard to beat a Suzuki, for going fast. I have a built 81 GS 750 engine. Bored out to 850cc. Needs a new home.

Got my welding finished to swap everything over to the drum brakes tonight.Ran into something i didn't expect.Don't know if it will be an issue or not.I swapped the swingarms out due to the fact that the disc swingarm and drum swingarm have different brackets for supporting the brakes.Come to find out,the drum swingarm is a little shorter than the disc. From the front pivot the the shock mounts, the drum arm is 3/4" shorter. Will this really affect anything with the shocks being a little more vertical than before? Also the "triangles",as i call them, the brackets that the rear foot pegs mount on,with the rear disc setup gone there is nothing that mounts to them anymore.I'm not gonna run rear pegs either.I was considering shaving them for the  cleaner look, but almost feel guilty cutting them off. What do ya'll think. Will i regret shaving them off,or should I just simply be ashamed to cut on a perfectly good frame for vanity sake?

Cut off the triangles. The last two bikes in the pictures above look cleaner than the first. Save the parts and let the next guy weld them back on.

Very nice bike on Tube ,Tank was ace and had all the gauges tuckinthere for a well planed out look around the trees.point on the az ?? only other was on the bars.Every one has there own look they wont why I give you so many pics to see what your looking for and I still can't picture it.this is the try-angle(pic) I thought you were talking about ,why I asked if you could get to your adjuster.mine is lots longer.
That Red frame you seen was A KZ 750 that were doing up for advertising at Veness Beach next Summer,ALL SHOw no go,Brother need to find a really good shop to work for and were pulling in all ole favors and passed free bee's so not going to cost much.If you start cutting ,take off any thing not of use or can be put on as a add-on(clamps)that mean small lights bringingthem in tighter,so the bike looks like nothings there as a whole,You know this, whats the law on signals some states are 16" on center apart.

Interesting about the swing arms. Doubt it will affect anything. As, for cutting off the foot peg mounts. If, you do not plan on running them, cut them off, but they are great places to mount exhaust.

Very seldom i like a tryke    i like that one!!!   Took my springs off my shocks( i highly recommend help or at least proper tools)to clean them.I noticed that on compression stroke there is no pressure at all, maybe 5 pounds at most.Extension still seems nice and tight. There was some oil around the seals, not what i considered enuff to have a blown seal. What is the norm?
