I was thinking that since i have no storage on this bike, and about a half a yard of vinyl left over,i wonder how retarded it would look to make a fork bag to put on here? What do you think, would it be ridiculous?

You should stick a set of these on there... I'm getting some for my tank, even though I don't have indents, it'll give the perception, and since I don't have indents, My knees will be all over the side of the tank, Might as well make it more comfy.
I like that tank. It's perfect for a Cafe. What color you gonna paint it. forgive me if that was discussed earlier in this thread.

Oops.I actually went to say tank bag,not fork bag.Good save Daddyman!

Im thinking silver,Piute.I have silver, red, black and burple on the shelf now.Yes,burple...not a typo. Its the paint used on my buddies car

Thanks City.Truimph knee pads made in Taiwan...odd.They do look good.Thats not a bad price. This guy just painted his on and it really doesnt look bad.I know what you mean about your knees scuffing up the tank.I kinda would like for this bike to look like it has been together for awile, not just freshly put together.I might not paint it at all.I hate to use such a gay term but, patina is cool

Mask off where, you want knee pads, and use truck bedliner.

Ok dont laugh too hard. This is kinda what i had in mind with a tank bag.I can cut the sides so the bag part will collapse and lay flat, but just have enough room to open up so you can empty your pockets while riding,Wallet, cell phone,pistol...you know the essentials

Think the straps should be a little wider,  but that looks good.

Yeah,im still perfecting my "painting" skills.I really dont want a lot of vinyl fake leather all over the bike.Afraid it will make it look cheap.Found a beautiful piece of leather at the upholstery shop yesterday, but it was $100.I guess i'll just use my pockets in my riding jacket...for now.I wanna do something,i just dont know what just yet

Go to the Salvation Army/used clothing stores. Often, you will find old leather coats cheap. Cut them up, for what, you need.
