They do look like dirt bike bars (I edited my post while you were replying LOL). I have the same problem with my wrists (carpel tunnel) in my right wrist is real bad. I got a palm rest (I forget what's called actually, it's like a little paddle that goes around the throttle that you rest you palm on), for the throttle because my hand goes numb after a while

These are the  superbike bars I'm running now:

    Rise        = 3.04"
    Pullback = 3"
    Center    = 4"

The throttle control is called a "CrampBuster" if you google it you'll get a bunch of ads for PMS pills, here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/CrampBuster-Throttle-Mounted-Motorcycle-Cruise/dp/tags-on-product/B000NUVPQA

It works great but there are occasions where I've experienced unintended acceleration (think Toyota), at least that's the story I'm going to use if the cops ever stop me for speeding.

PMS pills   ha ha        i have seen the cramp busters in town.Wasnt sure if i would like them or not.The S-B bars ive seen had a smaller tube across the top.Yours look pretty nice.I think i may go that route.If i cant ride for at least 2-300 miles without having to stretch my hands out,i'll redo my bike into a bobber.Im happy with the looks/seat of it now,and the leaning doesnt bother me.Its kinda nice actually being able to rest my elbows on my knees.I can ride like that for miles and miles.Its just my wrists,man.Gotta do something

No more water buffalo handle bars.I picked up a set of super bike bars and a set of clubmans today at the bike shop.I was waiting on the UPS  to show up with my jets and just fell victim to boredom.Anyway,glad i did.The SB bars seem uncomfortable but i really like the clubmans for now.Hand position is much higher(about2-3")than what i had and the angle is much more comfy on the wrist.At least i think so for now.Its raining and sleeting hereMaybe it will clear up tomorrow.Bike is a different animal with the new jets,even just revving it in the barn.Burnout was much easier to execute than before,and alot smokier.I wish i knew how to post a vidSorry for the hazy pic...it was taken post burnout

If i could bother you, could you take a pic that is a side shot of the bike? Its hard to see the amount of drop those handle bars have with the overhead shot.  Also do you have any issues with them hitting the gas tank?

They do not hit the tank BECAUSE I welded up my steering stops...a lot.My steering is probably reduced to half.What you see in this pic it full lock to the left.This is a junky pic,but all i have for now.I will get you a better one when the smoke isn't causing my nose to run.They basically sit at the same height as the top triple clamp.Ok lets see if this works... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRQywv_daZo

Yeah,I'm already getting requests for a topless sceneIm surprised Judose isn't on the show-off tube yet

Cafe seating pos. is not that bad.I dont mind leaning forward as long as my back is straight.I cant do the hunched over thing.The clubmans felt perfect today.The backwards angle and the height are perfect.No more sore wrists.It feels a bit twitchy with such a narrow bar,but im getting used to it pretty quick.Samir,i forgot about you buddy.There should be a side veiw pic tonight.

Samir,you were asking about tuning for the pods and such.Well,here is what i have learned so far.My bike had 105 main jets and 40 pilots when i got it.As best as i can tell it was maybe supposed to have 120 mains instead.I have found conflicting info on this ,but the FSM i downloaded here said 120 for the F model so...The guy at the local bike shop(30 miles away) name is Eric,also.Eric suggested i start back with the 120s and up the pilots to 42 to start with.He ordered me 120 and 125 mains    and 42 and 45 pilots.45s never showed.To begin with my bike felt fine(to me,with no previous cb750 experience to draw off)but tapped out at about 5-55000 rpm.I swapped in the 42 pilots and 120 mains.Big difference!Throttle response was much quicker in neutral, it would just zing to 6000.On the road it would slide me to the back of my seat when i stab it in 1st at about 3000 rpm.I liked that. But it still would die out at about 5500.Swapped out the 120s for the 125s and went for another test ride this evening.Man,im in love with these motors!It will now pull to redline with ease,but the "popple" out the exhaust tells me that it still needs more fuel.I dont know the nature of these bikes,but under 3000 seems a bit dead.Pulls the mountains fine and has great power for cruising,but the real power comes on 3000+. Hitting the bike at WOT at 3000 in 1st it jumps to redline in what seems like one second,bang 2nd,grab 3rd,(all in what seems like one second in each gear)as soon as i saw the tach approaching red line in 3rd i glanced over a saw a nice,even 100 mph.Holy freakin horse power Batman!This bike is still running a little lean,and has more power than i ever expected...or wanted!Im gonna hurt myself.What is truly stunning to me,with a solid mounted engine,no rubber isolation ANYWHERE,handle bars included,you never feel the slightest hint of vibration at all.Even when i tuck my knees tight up against the tank and frame rails i dont feel anything.Footpegs,bars ...nothing...just buttery smoothness.The only sign of the engine is my bar-end mirrors hum ever so slightly and the thing just rockets away.I am truly impressed with the power these bikes produced.I believe the 150 mph on the speedo may be truly obtainable,just not for me.All the reveiws you hear on the bikes that claim that they are "boring"...really?...did you actually RIDE ONE!?!? Most fun i have ever had with any vehicle.Period.Boring?Not a chance

Thanks for the info on the pods shiny.  Glad you have had a chance to ride that bike before it got too cold. Oh also thanks for the pics and comments on the clubmans you got now I definitively want some. wasn't sure how they would feel because they look a bit odd and uncomfortable in just the pics.

Samir,it was in the 40s today and i was perfectly comfortable riding today.I think i can get a few more weeks of riding in,maybe more.It gets pretty cool at night,and my visor starts fogging more at night,but the cold is not that bad.I found if i put the very tip of my toes on the pegs and pull my heels in that i can feel a little warm air area swirling around my ankles.Niiiice!I do need better gloves,though.On the clubmans,a buddy of mine sat on the bike today and couldnt reach the handle bars.Of course,my tank is 3" farther back than stock.He is 5'8" and couldnt even get his feet on the ground good enough to get it off the kickstand.He has a pretty good sized belly, i might add.Put my first 100 miles on these bars today and all my wrist pain is gone.Right palm still cramping,but i found if i put my right thumb on top of the grip it doesnt cramp upI guess im just soft.Here are what (crappy)pics i got,Samir.I can get more if you need to see something else.My bars are Bikemasters.I will post the part #
