Re: Just got home with my new toy....Can I get an AMEN!?

Hellbilly429
No man, red's the way to go and you know it, lol. Anubis is also the protector of the deceased and their tombs, and since you are ressurecting an old school bike and you want to keep it looking 70's, you're kind of protecting a deceased era.

Does Anubis look anything like a Reaper? I like Reapers. I need a Reaper driving a combine.

Dang Hellbilly, you getting deep on me now, man! Anubis McCoy. Sounds like a black hat from an old western. I cannot imagine the scenario where you would need a reaper driving a combine.I've been trying, too.Just cant do it.

I know, sometimes I surprise myself, but honestly I kind of wanted you to give the bike a badass name since you wanted to go for a meaner look.

Anubis is pictured a lot carrying either this staff with the egyptian symbol called an Ankh, which symbolizes life

Or with some sort of scythe like weapon such as this

I really like this symbol that represents Anubis and think it would be sick if this were to be placed at the top of your gas tank

Sorry for all of the pictures

I'm all for pics. I usually dont go for a lot of pics, symbols ,murals or what not. Seen too much of that type stuff at the track thru the years. Gets old, ya know. BUT,  I really dig the wing part of the last pic. Don't know why,  bit I always like wings. Dated a girl with wings tatted on her back once. Unusually attractive to me.

If you would just put some skulls on your bike I think we would all be very happy with it, especially if you rode your bike to church with one of these on

Is that the caliper down at the bottom? Thought that was gonna get painted red

Just like, you to screw up a $400.00 caliper by trying to make it shiny.

Picture was a Halloween "T"shirt, not much into skulls N satanic stuff at all, more designs and colors myself, rather then copying some-one elses idea, but old ones come back with a twist.
So now your throwing money away  Sandcast parts being treated like new old junk ,Whats this sight turning to .

PO has this doo-hicky for where the chain hits the frame. 124 links.Should I run a tensioner or idler of some sort,or just keep a better eye on the heater hose than the PO did?

Whats wrong with skulls? Why would Christians consider them offensive?

Beats me. i got no problem with them. You'd have to ask somebody other than me that is offended by them. I just dont like skulls personally on my vehicles. Or butterflies, ponies, rainbows, the color pink, unicorns,Ford emblems...the list goes on

Death and bones aren't offensive ,it's those that use the image in way that could be offensive to others,I think as a painter there over rated as well as flames,That is not being crative enough to be different.

I say ya send mee that bike and I'll put some candy colors with lacing just as it would have back in the day.
